Data Processing

All data is processed in house by Thomson Aviation.  Our processing facility utilises both Intrepid and Geosoft software for data Quality Control and final processing.   Radiometric data is processed using modern full spectrum processing techniques incorporating NASVD and MNF noise reduction. Magnetic data is processed using Intrepid levelling to produce high quality final products to an image processing standard. 

 

A range of image processing products of the geophysical data is available. A standard image package includes:

 

Magnetics

·        TMI HSI ( 2 directions)

·        TMI First Vertical Derivative

·        Same as above for Reduced to Pole TMI

·        Elevation HIS

 

Radiometrics

·        Radiometric Total Count, Potassium, Uranium and Thorium Sun Angle

·        Radiometric Ternary Image

 

Custom products are also available upon request.

 Digital Data

·        All digital data will be delivered on CD-ROM or DVD

·        Delivery of digital data as located data files will conform to the ASEG-GDF format.

·        Delivery of grid files of topographic, magnetic and / or radiometric will be in ERMapper format. Other formats available upon request

                                              

Processed data is Quality Controlled by Mr Anton Rada. Anton graduated from the University of Tasmania in 1990 with a degree in Geophysics and Computer Science before working for AGSO (Geoscience Australia) for 2 years. He completed his Masters Degree in Geological Data Processing at the University of New South Wales in 1995 before Joining the Kevron Group. He has 15 years experience as a consultant in airborne Data Processing and Quality Control.
